Attorneys and Counselors at Law
Many people realize that when they hire a lawyer, it’s best for the lawyer. Our overall mission is to see to it that when people come into contact with us, whether they hire us or not, it’s really good for them.
Life is change. Estate planning is about anticipating change, and sometimes, inevitable crisis. Our mission for your estate plan is to faithfully transmit the unique values of your life, your legacy, to those you love, while reducing family conflict and the involvement of unnecessary third parties.
We are more interested in developing relationships with people than in transacting business with them.
We understand that relationships are based on trust, and that trust is the result of clear, authentic exchanges.
We strive to give our clients value by providing them with exactly what they need, when they need it.
We are building for the future, so that we will be here when you need us, and when your children need us. We understand the importance of being reliable in the long run because we have children, too.
We were litigators first, and litigation is what people do when estate plans go wrong. Many estate planners have never been to court, and do not understand what happens when plans fail. We do.
A Patriot to his Profession
I would highly recommend Mr. Winget-Hernandez. He is truly the most professional attorney I have encountered. His work ethic is exceptional. He is very compassionate when needed and aggressive when required. Mr. Winget-Hernandez kept me well informed as my case progressed through the system. He always responded in a timely manner to any questions or comments I had. Outstanding listening and communication skills.

We really feel secure!
Lelia was very clear in explaining our options and walking us through the Family Wealth Planning process. It’s much more than just a will! She was patient, flexible with our schedules, and we really feel secure knowing this has been done the right way.

Very responsive and obviously knowledgeable.
Whenever we had a question, Winget-Hernandez was very responsive and obviously knowledgeable. Great follow-up communication. The part of the process we enjoyed the most was feeling very comfortable and at ease with all concerns met. Not intimidated. We were made to feel more like family than clients. The interview is unique and sets you apart from other legal firms. We immediately got the sense that you had our best interests at heart, which bore out through the process. You also went above and beyond expectation in helping find resources for another, unrelated matter.

Professional and Personable
As a young adult in my mid-twenties, I never expected to need a lawyer . . . Fortunately, Lelia Winget-Hernandez was there to help me pick up the pieces . . . Mrs. Winget-Hernandez handled everything with such empathy and professionalism . . . I am so thankful I found her during one of the most stressful times of my life. I cannot say enough good things about her, and recommend her services to anyone in need. She is not just any other lawyer- Mrs. Winget-Hernandez truly cares about her clients.

We fully recommend them for any future Hospice members who might need help.
Hospice gave us a list of lawyers, but we needed someone to come immediately. Michael and Lelia came the next day after we called them. They in turn worked over the weekend and had a signing session for our Revocable Living Trust, Health Care Directives and Will complete with their own notary so all documents were completed and notarized even though D was bedridden at the time. Their knowledge and professionalism has surpassed our expectations. We never felt rushed and we even made a change and they happily brought the notary back out to get all the changes notarized. All of this was done without any increase in cost. Later they audio taped our reasons for the trust which allowed D and I to give some final words to our son. After this was all completed D was more at peace because she had been concerned our finances would not have the protection of a trust and will before she passed..

Lelia Winget-Hernandez handled many service contracts and agreements for me for the past few years. I found her to be efficient, responsive and knowledgeable, and also a caring individual who worked with me with great integrity.

"You have done a great job of possibly extending and helping our enjoyment of life and providing us a terrific foundation of legacy. Thank you both! The feedback from family has been most positive.”
Trust client’s feedback on their family meeting and our legacy process
The part of the process I enjoyed most was realizing Winget-Hernandez knew what we needed before we did.
An estate planning client
Winget-Hernandez, P.C. was always responsive...and the best part was the comfort I felt through the entire process.

We want to spend some time getting to know you, answering your questions, and figuring out whether it makes sense for you to hire us. This is why we offer to discuss your situation without asking you to pay us a fee. We give you our time up front, without any obligation to pay us or to continue to work with us. All we ask is that you give us the information we need to understand your estate planning needs and respect our time. If we determine that we can help you, we will quote you a flat, all-inclusive fee for our services, and will give you a clear, written proposal. You will never owe us a dime without first agreeing in writing to what services you want us to perform for you, and exactly how much they will cost. We want you to be better-off for having seen us, and if that means that you leave with a bunch of information, but without hiring us, it’s really okay with us.
